Description: Chickpeas are larger than normal peas and are used in couscous dishes in many Arab and North African countries. With this nutritious pea variety, delicious salad, soup, humus and falafel can also be made! Preparation: Soak the beans in water for 8 to 12 hours. Cook them for 1.5 to 2 hours. Use 80 to 100 grams of raw legumes per person.
