Almonds, like all nuts, are not only supremely delicious but are also packed full of nutrients. Fibre, protein, vitamin E, calcium and healthy fats to name a few.
- Eat them as they come as a snack. Try pairing them with dried apricots.
- Roast them in a single layer in the oven then blend into almond butter with just a pinch of sea salt.
- Make a stunning Romesco sauce by blending roasted almonds with garlic, roasted red peppers, olive oil and a splash of sherry vinegar. Find our recipe at the end of this blog post all about leeks here.
