We (Jenny & Kenneth Keavey) started Green Earth Organics box delivery scheme in 2006. Our organic farm is situated 8 miles from Galway City. The land has been in our family for generations, and entered organic conversion in 2004.
Today we farm 40 acres of organically certified land, with a further 10 acres dedicated to biodiversity, native woodland and red clover grassland.
Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world; indeed, it’s the only thing that ever has.

I have been ordering from GEO for over a year now and the food is of exceptional quality. My biweekly order of a "build your own" fruit and veg box is delivered straight to my door and is packed with care and consideration. It is so handy! I also enjoy reading the emails from the farm owner who keeps his customers in the loop about the farm in Galway where the food is organically grown. I could not rate GEO highly enough.
My New Year's resolutions included an aim to buy more organic, Irish produce. Which lead me to the GEO website. I had a punt at a basket and was delighted with my delivery. Fantastically fresh quality vegetables and fruit delivered to the door. I went for the totally Irish basket for my second order and again delighted with my delivery (despite storm Eowyn battering the countryside). Still working our way through the fruit & veg over a week later. Delish! A regular order is definitely on the cards. Love the blogs, updates and the recipes too.
Got my first order a couple of weeks ago. Absolutely loved it! The choice of produce is amazing, as is the quality. The proof is honestly in the taste! All the veg and fruit we have gotten so far has tasted so fresh and juicy! It feels healthier. It's such a nice change from the supermarket. Will definitely be getting all my veg and fruit from here in the future. Can't wait to try more of the other items too. It was so refreshing to receive the parcels with a plastic free promise. That promise was certainly delivered. It's amazing what this company is doing. I hope more people begin to use avenues like this in the future for our own health and that of the planets.
Love these guys. Have been getting my weekly delivery for 2 years now. They have a great range of products. I especially love the giant heads of lettuce, stays fresh all week and is the staple of every one of my lunches.
Got my first delivery today which includes a small welcome and information pack. All produce looks great, packaged really well and everything is recyclable or compostable. Compared to non organic fruits and vegetables the price is very competitive.
