RECIPE: Chilled Coffee Smoothie
"WASTE NOT, WANT NOT" TIP: There is nothing we love better than sipping a hot cup of freshly brewed organic coffee. But sometimes - life gets in the way - the doorbell rings, the kids scream, the milk boils over .... and before you know it , the coffee is cold and you'd lost the will to drink it! Well, instead of chucking it down the sink, put it in the fridge, and when you get a chance, make this delicious chilled coffee smoothie recipe! Starbucks can keep their Frappuccino - thank you very much, and you can save your money!
RECIPE: Chilled Coffee Smoothie
Ingredients:
- 1 cup freshly made ground coffee (cooled)
- 2 cups almond milk
- 1-2 bananas (frozen if possible)
- 2 teaspoons of cacao powder (optional)
- Ice cubes from your freezer
Method:
- Mix all the ingredients in a blender except for the ice.
- Add ice and blend to the desired consistency
- Ready to rock!
